I have been in Real Estate and Finance for over 18 years ( a really long time) . I started my career by working my way up the ranks in Finance as a Jr. Processor to an Asst. Vice President, underwriter and Branch Manager for a (now defunct) Fortune 500 Company. I have worked with FHA, VA, The California Finance Agency, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae loans. I know Mortgages and Secondary Markets inside and out.
I am a 3rd Generation Real Estate Broker and have been investing in Real Estate since 1999. Meaning I personally purchase, sell and invest in property. I currently own property and am an active property manager.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Two Corporations. August Rain Enterprises which specializes in helping Small Brokerages increase profit by utilizing point of sale escrow services with an emphasis on customer service, and Centurion Mortgage which has been helping Homebuyers and Homeowners navigate the challenging lending arena since 2004. Centurion specializes in Traditional mortgages, Government Programs, Investor loans and serving clients by offering options that are “out of the box” that the drive through banks will not do.
I have a continued relationship with, Allensworth Realty our Family business which has been serving Southern California for over 30 Years (Another Really long time) we also sponsor a community outreach program that offers guidance and assistance services for Homeowners struggling to make ends meet. I have recently started a blog to provide an online forum of information, forms, and facts relating to all things Real Estate.
I hold licenses with the Department of Real Estate as well as a Federal and State licenses with the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
As you may be able to tell I have had a long running love affair with all things Real Estate. My husband has learned to accept it and my kids, well they are being raised to be the 4th Generation of Real Estate Investors! I actually enjoy the challenges Real Estate can bring but I absolutely Love the opportunities it creates.
I know that there is always a fear factor when purchasing a home or selling a home. First time buyer or repeat investor. It always seems like a lot of money whether for the taxes, house payments or upkeep. Don’t get me started on the closing costs. My approach is different than most, I guess it’s from being a mom. I like to hold your hand and walk you through the process. Make sure you are prepared for your purchase or you home sale. My goal for you is that you end up enjoying buying and selling Real Estate as much as I do!
